We chose $10 per beat lease because this is the most competitive price on the internet.

Can I have a beat for free?
Yes! The only beats we offer for free are located for download in our free beats section. These free beats are to be used strictly for non-profit, promotional purposes only. Full credit and production of these free beatsshould be given to Isso Productions.
In what ways can I purchase a beat?
There are two different ways to purchase a beat from us. You can purchase a leasing rights license, or an exclusive rights license.
Leasing rights allow you to use the beat (or song) for ONE commercial recording or broadcast.
Exclusive rights allow you full rights to the beat (or song) and the beat can no longer be sold to anyone else.

Can beats be purchased and used for movies, soundtracks, and other media productions?
Yes, beats can be used for any of your audio/video production needs, especially movies, video games or soundtracks. If you need an instrumental for a mainstream production project, you will need to purchase exclusive rights to the instrumental if more than 2,000 copies of your product will be sold.
Can someone else lease the same beat as me?
Yes, other people can purchase the same beat lease as you. Beat leasing works well because we impose a 2,000 copy sale limit on each beat lease. Because of this restriction in our contract, beat leases are minimized to a local level of distribution instead of nation wide or international promotion.
This regulation minimizes the chance of 2 artists' songs clashing on the same instrumental. For example, if one artist leases a beat in California and one artist leases a beat in Georgia, there is a small chance that their songs will clash within the same fan base.

What if someone buys exclusive rights to a beat after I already bought a lease?
Your leasing rights are still valid according to the rights delivered in your leasing contract because your sale predates the exclusive rights purchase. However, you will no longer be able to purchase any more leasing rights to your beat. Exclusive rights are sold on a first come first serve basis and we strongly encourage you to purchase exclusive rights if you believe you will need them in the future.
In the event that someone does purchase exclusive rights, we can make a custom beat for you at an additional charge and grant you exclusive rights to it. Please contact us personally for negotiations.

How do I buy a beat?
Most people purchase beats from our web site using a service called Pay Pal. This is convenient for anyone who has a credit/debit card and wants to make secure payments over the internet. A Pay Pal account can be created within 5-10 minutes and is very easy to create. After creating a PayPal account, you can link your credit/debit card to your account. If you were wondering, we are Pay Pal verified and have been since 2007.

Yes! If exclusive rights haven't been purchased for the beat you want and you've already purchased a beat lease in the past, we will only charge you the difference between the lease and exclusive rights purchase. Please contact us to inquire about exclusive rights purchasing.
When and how will I receive my beat(s)?
After your payment has been received, we will send your purchased beat(s) directly to your e-mail in a high quality .mp3 and/or .wav file.
If you selected the option to receive a data disc and/or the individual .wav files for the beat(s), we will mail out the data disc on the next business day. Please be sure to include your mailing address when you choose the data disc option.

How do I know my information is safe?
We have been selling beats for 2 years and have not had any complaints or stolen information before because we do most of our business through the Pay Pal service. On the occasion that a customer uses a different payment option, their information is still safe. We never give out your e-mail address, name, phone number, or any other personal information to anyone.
If I want to purchase several beats (10 or more), will you offer a discount?
If you are interested in purchasing more than 10 beats, we will offer a discount on your total price. Please contact us to inquire about purchasing beats in bulk.
can isso productions make me custom beats?
We do make custom beats for artists that wish to pay for them. We can design beats and make them sound however you would like them. We can also create new beats from beats that you would like your instrumental to sound like. Your custom beat will be created exclusively for you and no one else.
A deposit of $100 is required to create your custom beat, so that you will not drop out of the deal at the last second.
4 hours of work will be put into your custom beat. There is also an additional fee of $20 per additional hour invoiced and a $250 charge upon completion (including your initial $100 deposit, making a total of $250 + Extra number of hours invoiced at a rate of $20/hr).

If I don't want my beat anymore, can I receive a refund?
If we have not sent you the beat(s) you purchased, but we have already received your payment, we can give you a refund in your full amount. However, if we have already sent you the instrumental(s) that you purchased, we cannot issue you a refund because our beats are considered intellectual property.
